Trying to wire duraspark and MSD 6Al. Everthing makes sense except the small red wire coming out of the msd box. I have the msd connector plug which plugs right into the duraspark. Ran the thick red to batt, thick black wire to (-) batt, orange wire to (+) on coil, and thin black to (-) coil.
White wire is not used. Where do I run the thin red wire coming out of the msd box to???? The diagram in the tech section just show it going to C+ on what????? Can someone tell me what that thing is in the diagram, because I dont have one. Thanks

That's the switching wire for the MSD and is connected to the old lead that used to go to the coil positive. You could also connect it to any switched 12V source. Go to the Duarspark page in our tech section and scroll down to see the MSD stand alone diagram.

Ok, great. Yes I have an old red wire that went to (+) on coil. I will hook it up and give it a go. Thanks for your help.
