Yep, Flowmaster 40 Series Delta Flows with 2" I/O on centers

It'll be this weekend before I can get more clips/images together.

Would love to have the engine in my Bronco built something like yours.
Aprox what power rating are you geting and aprox cost to build.

I lost track of the $! I'd say probably between $3k-$4k in parts and labor, but I'm really guessing. Lessee:

ARP kit: ~$250
HiPo Balancer: ~$200
bearings (main, rod, cap): ~$150
OZ Head/Intake: $675
Headers (coated): ~$400
exhaust system (mufflers, pipe, install): ~$375
pistons & rings: ~$200
cam: ~$100
lifters: ~$50
pushrods: ~$40
full roller rockers: ~$500
double roller timing: ~$95
Holley, adapter, throttle linkage: ~$300
distributor, rotor, cap, wires, etc: ~$100
MSD: ~$150
block work (hot tank, deck, bore, etc): ~$can't remember exactly but around $300
head work (mill, port/polish, hardened seats, etc): ~$can't remember exactly but around $225

that totals up to around $4110 so I guess I was close at first guess!

hopped up 6 cylinder: $4000
look on peoples faces when I pop the hood: $PRICELESS

As for performance, it's hard to say without Dyno'ing it...haven't gotten to that yet. Based on the calculators/simulators I've seen and used, I'd say I'm putting out between 180-200HP, but again, I'm guessing.

I would like to here a drive by cruise or an acceleration run sound clip!! It sounds great. I can detect some six at idle but once you wind it up it's absolutely 5.0. I personally didn't like the flows on my 76 stang with a 289 but they sound great on yours. Great job!!

SORRY! I've been so freakin' busy I've barely had time to breathe.

Dude! That sounds great! I am new to the group so I don't know what's behind that exhaust note. Engine? Car? Manifold/Headers? Pics? My son's exhaust is brand new, but bone stock. I didn't want the new driver to gather too much attention with the other 16 yr olds in the school parking lot. The black '65 Stang coupe with Cragars all around have already prompted a few race requests. Thank GOD he has turned them all down.

I think your car sounds stellar. Both boys came running from their rooms when I turned the volume up to get their attention. Neither believe it's a six. I trust you, but it sounds bigger than a six by far.

I was amazed when I first learned what can be done to the exhaust note of a six, and the dozens of combinations of stock manifolds, headers, true duals, pipe diameters, mufflers and resonators.

the 200ci displaces slightly more than 33 cubes per cylinder, where each cylinder of a 289 has about 36 cubic inches. so, displacement-wise, theres not really that much of a difference between a six and a v8.

the 250ci packs more cubes per cylinder than a 302, so rumble should be granted.

I love the recordings that are posted here. Burned on CD and played on the hifi stereo, they really kick *ss! 8)

or so he says.... but then again I wouldnt want to race anyone either... yet until the turbo comes..... right now my current record stands at 96 mph and still going..... I dont think theres anything at my school that couldnt beat me...

That note is truly sensational.

Can't wait to get my twin system fitted.

Great sounds!!!

BTW, is there more info on your setup available? Which cam, how much CR and so on. Dyno #s would be great too.

take a look at my sig and you'll see everything on my build you could want!

I know...sorry. My camera died! I have to send it out for repair, but I'll get you some pics soon.

Not quite sure how to actually "vote", I'm new to this.
As for the sound?? This aint no six, no way dude, you gotta be kidding me!I have heard big eights that don't sound no where near so cool!
Now I know exactly how to do the final exhaust setup when I finish mine!
Way neat!

 promise...that's my 6!

..but don't feel isolated. There aint one guy in South Florida that believes me when I tell him! I even stuck the I6 badges (avatar) on the car and people actually think I did that just to make it more of a sleeper!
