Well here it is. Look for pics in an upcoming M&F issue. Ain't it purdy. But it was costly........

Still need to get a few parts chromed, but I got the parts late and ran out of time (crank will be installed for the show). Hows that for a nice induction system? We will be offering it as an option for the new aluminum head. N/A or with a turbo kit.

Some of the parts will eventually be going into my 66 coupe. An OZ250 block stroked to 273 cubes, forged crank, rods, pistons, cam (not sure on the specs yet), the new aluminum head, triple TBI injection, T4 turbo with intercooler, built C4 tranny with stall convertor, and 411 posi 8" rear. Any guesses on the HP?

Neat stuff. For the display, I suggest you superglue the hoses and leads on. A few "sticky fingers" around those places.

Got any models for your stall? :P

A guess on the horsepower?

Id say 550 at the crank @5500.

Amazing display. Can I have three...

I noticed that also. Anodised is a bit too ricey!

He's cleverly built the whole thing in a "wipe clean" finish.

Mike, ray charles would be impressed with your display.

Looks fantastic. This should give you a lot more respect in the business world.

As I said last week my assistant shop forman will be at the show for the Lexus display. I told him to look you up at the urban gorilla display. His name is Eric Jeffers.

He will be at the show probably tuesday through thursday. I hope he stops by & says hello if you are there. Again looks great. Bill

Man, that looks more like a work of art then an engine! Amazing what some of you guys can do with these little sixes. VERY nice! 8)

Nope, I went broke doing the motor and can't afford a model now.

no gear reduction starter?
I went with a stock starter on purpose. I wanted to show to header clearance. I ordered a chrome one, but it won't make it here on time.

what water pump is that?
Stock pump, ceramic coated by Jet Hot.

displaying at SEMA is not a cheap item either
The space was donated by one of my customers. Great guy and very much appreciated as I could never afford it.

Are those air horns carbon fiber?
I love the carbon fiber horns, gives the old six an updated look.

Mark Houlahan, the editior of M&F, gave me some tips on how to build it.

I only wish the proto type aluminum head was ready.

You can't really tell in these pics, but I built a custom black laminate cabinet to conceal the entire engine stand. Looks cool. Thought about adding some neon lights to it. Wish I had a "Ford" blue oval neon sign.

BYW, just heard that Kelly ran an 11.83 tonight at Firebird. Congrats to Will and Kelly. That's incredible.

Hey Mike - who's display will you be at? I'm coming down next week for NACE (collision repair expo) and my ASE exams. My NACE pass includes admission to SEMA and I've always wanted to go. I just gotta see your display.

Let me know where and when you plan to be there and I'll stop by and say "Hi". 8)
