Ryan,
A radiator cap for a coolant recovery system is different from one intended for a cooling system without a recovery bottle. Don't just check the PSI rating of the cap; make sure it is the right type. A cap for a recovery system re-opens as pressure decreases (and the engine cools) allowing the coolant in the recovery bottle to flow back into the radiator (due to a vacuum being created in the cooling system caused by the contracting of the cooled liquid). If you have this type of cap on a radiator without a recovery bottle, you will louse coolant on the road and never know why. I should also mention that most radiator caps sold in auto parts stores these days are for recovery systems.
