I need a water pump pulley for my 1976 250.
I have looked all over online and can't find anywhere that sells a stock replacement pulley. Also it's not as easy as going to a salvage yard and looking for an old stock pulley. My 250 is the only Ford 6 I have seen in any of the yards around here in the past 8 years and someone had already taken the water pump pulley before I pulled the engine.
Does anyone know if the pulley from a 200 has the same bolt pattern? If so will it hurt to use the smaller pulley on a stock 250 engine. I know it will turn the impeller at a higher rpm but I don't think cavitation would be an issue at stock engine speeds...???
