Need 250 Water Pump Pulley...

I need a water pump pulley for my 1976 250.

I have looked all over online and can't find anywhere that sells a stock replacement pulley. Also it's not as easy as going to a salvage yard and looking for an old stock pulley. My 250 is the only Ford 6 I have seen in any of the yards around here in the past 8 years and someone had already taken the water pump pulley before I pulled the engine.

Does anyone know if the pulley from a 200 has the same bolt pattern? If so will it hurt to use the smaller pulley on a stock 250 engine. I know it will turn the impeller at a higher rpm but I don't think cavitation would be an issue at stock engine speeds...???

Really?

Nobody knows where to get a 250 water pump pulley... or if I a 200 pulley will fit and if I can use it without consequence? Or are there any other pulleys that will work on a 250? Maybe one from a small block V8???

Post the measurements. Bolt pattern, diameter and depth. I have a pile of pullys laying around and can't remember what they all came off of.

I had a 250 pullley, the diameter was 5.25 inch or so and the 200 diameter is like 4.5inch, they are inter change-able, when I put my 250 head and 78 pully on the 250 water pulley touched both, so I looked around for a 2 groove pulley and it fit fine. before I had it on a 68 block with 67 head and had cooling issues due to poor water flow.

I honestly don't know what I did with my larger pulley but if I come accross it you can have it. maybe in some boxes somewhere... hmmm :hmmm:
