This is a Borg Warner T-10. The top one is the GM version; the bottom picture is the Ford type. The input shafts, mounting flange, and side cover are different.

Ford used this 4-spd for several years but eventually replaced them with T&C toploaders style.

i got the bottum one . so a ford type , wil it fit a 67 bel ore 66 belhouse for a six? i got 2 types belhouse here , 1 from a 2.77 [ alu ] and 1 for a 3.03 with adapterplare for the T5 setup [also alu ]

before i disamble the whole box from the car ,it would be nice to now if i could do a bolt on ?

The Ford type should bolt up to a 3.03 bellhousing. The transmission mount and the output shaft are the same too. Easy bolt on.

great thx , gone try it this week . wil i need the speed cable from an automatic ? because the connection is on the other site from the box

if the cable is long enough you should be able to plug it in, but the gear has a reverse rotation twist. 4-speed gears are differnt than the rest.

Yes, be sure to change the gear to a reverse driven gear or you will munch the drive gear and they are near impossible to find for the T10s any more. BTDT

damn the belhouse didn ,t fit ????????????? got a c6 and c7 belhouse !

the log pattern is verry smal togehter . i wil make some pic tonight !
