Needle Valve

A guy called work tonight and wanted a needle valve for his holley double pumper. Admittedly, I know very little about carbs.

Could one of you wise and wonderful guys give me some insite. I understand the bare basics, but that's about it.

Probably looking for a needle and seat. Holley sells them separately and most kits have a replacement.

That'd be it. How does it work?

That's what the fuel flows thru to get into the bowl. When the float rises, it pushes the needle into the seat and shuts the fuel flow off. Same way a toilet float valve works. that's how you adjust float level; just another toilet!
