new ford guy with a couple of Q's

Hey Everyone Im new to this website and let me be the first one to say how awesome of a site this is. If i did not see it then i probly wold never have belived it. I cant remeber the guys name but i seen him at hot augest nights this last year we got talkin and he told me about this site. My current Project is a 1967 ford falcon 2dr sprint. with a 200ci inline six. their is a couple of questions i have though with my six is it possible to be able to burn out and sound hella sick ( kinda like those V8 guys). and what would it take to be able to do it. my motor is all stock includeing the original carter that i had pony carburetors redo so its all like brand new. Is it true that the falcons in 67 came out with berkly rear ends cause i took my car to a shop to get carrier bearings and they looked at my rear and said i had a berkly rear witch is worth some $$$. i did not belive it but the guy offered me a new rear end and $$1500 for my rear and drive shaft, i did not take the offer though cause i thought i find out what i had first.

WHAT is a berkly rearend? seriously doubt you have anything besides a 6 cyl rearend. Think you have someone messing with you. I have a 9" posi, big bearing, disc brake reared with all brand new parts and probably could not get 1K out of it

Your car can do a burnout. The main thing to have is a higher rearend gear, atleast a 3.50. Then you can linelock it or dump the clutch.. SOmething to that effect

You car can sound good but will never sound "like a V8". to get it sounding good, you will need to get a good porting job, a better cam and a good muffler and exhaust
