Hi everyone,
About 2 weeks ago I bought a 1965 Mustang 200cid for a guy who was selling it because his daughter wanted a sportier car....a PT Cruiser. But hey better her loss my gain javascript:emoticon('
')
Twisted Evil So the engine is pretty much stock minus a solid state ignition (electronic ignition). I dont know if it is the stock motor but it would be nice to know how to find out.
Now my friend is swapping a stock 250 out of his early 70's Mav. for a 302 and offered me the engine. What I want to know is what difference would the engine have for my car? And how much would i have to change out in order for it to work ie. Motor Mounts, exhaust, etc. Also, he was saying that I could possibly put a stroker kit on the 250. I use my Mustang as my daily driver and want to keep the car economical. I would like a little more power while keeping the car economical.
Do you guys think I should swap the 200 for the 250 or just rebuild my engine??
Thank You,
Cory
