I ran my casting number through http://www.phlegm.us/workshop/index.php
that site and it said that my block and head were designed for a 66 falcon. Is this just Ford using the same parts on all their cars (mixing) or that my engine came out of a 66 falcon? Also When I bought the car (67 mustang, Ivy Gold, coupe) it was missing the door tag telling me all about the car, is there another way to find that? I've searched the forums for a while, so I'll make a new post for it because I'm SURE that this has been discussed before.

That should be the original engine block for your Mustang. Ford never made a Mustang specific 200 engine. Since the Mustang is a Falcon chasis (which came out years before the first Mustang), there was no need to revise the engine block and it kept its Falcon designation. You'll find that many other parts on your Mustang have a Falcon designation when decoded.

If you are lucky, you might find a build sheet someplace in the car (up under the front seat, under the dash, under the back seat, or even under the carpet) but be careful because it will be very brittle. It will show exactly what options your car came with. You can also request a Marti report (do a search on the VMF) and he can usually get you the same info.
