All Small Six Parts interchangeability L6 200ci

This relates to all small sixes
That's a better head than your original '67. Do you know the casting number on the back half of the intake manifold? Something like D3DE-AA or E0BE-BA. And there should be no problem getting distributors to fit. What are your plans? A modern fancy all electronic distributor? The often unpopular original Load-A-Matic distributor which has to be used with an original style Spark Control Valve carburetor? Or perhaps the later dual advance centrifugal/vacuum distributor? It's not so much the fit as the function that drives the selection. What is your overall vision for this car?
I didn’t get to see it, I sent it to the shop to get freshened up yesterday. My goal is to buy a new HEI distributor, I know summit racing has one so I think ima get that one.(https://www.summitracing.com/parts/sum-850052)
It’s going to be my daily but I also want to throw in some performance anyway I can. I’m sticking with the stock cam and ima get some scot drake headers.

Also I don’t know if I wnat to keep the C4 trans I have or upgrade to a T-5 I

Although the large log heads flow better than the older ones, the compression ratio is reduced. Are you planning to get that head milled while it's at the shop to bring the compression ratio back up? Now is the time.

save money and get a duraspark 2 and Ebay header

I was going to suggest the same. Duraspark is a good way to go. I couldn’t find one in my local but had I been a little more aware of things, I would have contacted @wsa111 to get one of his which he could have curved to my exact engine specs. I’ve got the EBay Header on mine too. There’s nothing I can think to complain about it. I have a 66 with the high starter, which it clears just fine and it clears the alternator bracket too.

Now would be a good time to get the 3 angle valve machining and go with a carb upgrade like a Rochester 2v for more performance. It will never be easier or cheaper than now. And the stated compression bump which is a low cost and easy performance upgrade..

If you’re getting a new cam, I would go ahead and get one that gives you a little more bottom end. Still mild mannered, smooth idle, mostly improved drivability. Get springs or at least the pressures you need from the cam manufacturer (I wouldn’t reuse 60 yr old springs). And from what I have learned here, I would think about getting your original lifters refreshed/ resurfaced, another thing that they don’t make like they used to 😣
