Piston dish size for factory 250?

I know I have seen this information before, but I just did a search and couldn't find it. Sorry for the repetition, but here goes:

How many cc's is the piston dish for a factory 250 piston?

Howdy BEMav;

The factory OEM 200/250 piston dish volume specification is 6.5 ccs. In actuality, volumes will vary slightly.

However, it may be 13cc if you have a California emissions engine.

Howdy Again:

The 13 cc dish Calif Emission pistons were only used in 200's during the 1966 & 1967 model years.

I believe all years of 250 engines used the 6.5 cc specification dish pistons. At least, I have yet to find an exception to this statement.

How's that for hedging.
