will the 2.3L tempo HSC flat top pistons work in the 200 or just the 250, and also can i mushine the carb base down to make a 350 holly fit with out an adapter or to weld on a flush mount adapter for clearance or do you have to use the one in the clifford cattelog.
thank you for your time :D

8) the 2.3 tempo pistons are the same as the 200 and the 250 pistons. they all fit the same bore and have the same compression height, as well as the same pin diameter.

as for a carb adapter, check out what www.classicinlines.com has in stock. you can get one to mount to the stock head, our you can get one where you need to do some machine work. your choice.

Q- will the 2.3L tempo HSC flat top pistons work in the 200 or just the 250,
A- Yes, They will work in either- all dimensions are the same except for the flat-top.

Q- Can i mushine the carb base down to make a 350 holly fit with out an adapter or to weld on a flush mount adapter for clearance or do you have to use the one in the clifford cattelog?
A- Yes, you do not need to use the Clifford adapter. A mounting plate of some kind will be needed. The mounting plate will be attached to the modified log and the carb will bolt to the mounting plate.

Adios, David
