Got my pullie off...

Engine is completly dismanteled. I have kept everything in order ran though and checked the part numbers across the board. I was expecting it to be a little micky mouse, but this is insane...

I'll just read off part numbers. My main concern is do all of these work together propely because of minor changes though the years?

The engine is a C5DE which is a '65 Straight 6 out of a falcon/ranchero. the following indicates its a 200.

But this is where it gets whacky

I'll start with the mains.

The mains all have numbers printed on them 11 though 18 (skipping numbers). and the rear main is C1DE, out of a '61 straight 6, a 144 or 170 i would guess.

All my Rods are out of a C3OE and if im wrong wasnt the 200 brought about in '64? dosnt a 170 have diffrent rods?

All of my rod caps except for one are C0DE. and the odd ball being CF59 ??

All of the Pistions are C5DE. the head is C5DE the Exhaust manifold is C3DE.

I do not know how to identify the crank and cam however found that the cam has the following printed in it
"Ford 18 XNA"

The Crank shows "15 1H" and on the flywheel connection point "690 * 028"

Last but not least my trans is a C0DR

any help at all to weithe or now i have a problem would be great

The casting numbers are engineering codes. They tell you the date of the last revision and the intended use, but those codes do not tell you when they were actually cast. What you've found is correct. It shows that you have parts designed in 1960, 63, 65, etc in your engine. What would be amiss is if you found later parts in a C5 block, like D8 rods or pistons.
