hi guys im new to your site here but not new to turbos. i currently have a 86 mustang that had a 351w with a single 70 with a BT carb that made 630/700 on pumpgas and is currently getting a 408w/glide combo that'll be crammed by a 101mm.
i have in my posessin a 90 f150 (and a 87 that will be done at a later date) that i've been tossing the idea of putting a turbo on for some extra pulling grunt on top of what the nice 300 already got. motor is mechanically sound and runs good. havent decided on turbo(s) yet but my main concern is tuning. i have a set of 24's out of a 03 mach1 i could use for the injectors(should flow more at the higher rail pressure) and i would just need the adapter harness or to put the ev6 connectors on the harness to plug into them. what is being done for the ecu and map sensor? i was thinking if it would be possible to wire in a gm 2/3 bar map sensor and re-tune the pcm to accomadate it via sct? this is my ONLY concern. i can literally build the entire kit in a day if i get all the parts together as im a fabricator by trade. just need to iron out this lil issue that i havent found much info on
