so the other day i was bored so i pulled of my stock exhaust manifold and ported it. i had been saving for the header but i was bored so i ported it to the size of the exhaust gasket. on the other end i enlarged the hole where the exhaust pipe bolts to the manifold. the i ported my exhaust ports on the head to the size of the gasket too. so i put it back on and went for a drive. Wow. i don't know exactly what difference it made but from where i was sitting i felt a difference. so i was wondering if any one could aproximate the horsepower/torque? difference. maybe even tell me the horsepower and torque of my engine thsi is what i've done:
electronic ignition from 77 maverick,
the porting above,
holley one-barrel carb from a 300,
flowmaster exhaust,
and NGK Platinum spark plugs(they help)
oh yea i have a C4 behind it and i'm only running the alternator off the crank pulley.(electric water pump kit.)
so if some one could give me an estimate, that'd be great thanx[/list]
