can you have a turbo and induction sytem on one car??????

Technically, you can have a turbo and supercharger on one car. Is it a good idea? Not really. The only twin-charged cars I can pull off of the top of my head were the Lancia rally cars of the late 70's and early 80's. They performed well, but were overly complicated.

As for it being done at home, it's hard enough to make a turbo or supercharged engine run well with only one power adder. The more complicated you go, the easier it is to break something. Umm...

I don't really understand the rest of your question. :)

Twin turbos are common on a lot of newer cars (volvo S80 T6 comes to mind). Super and turbo would be tough, but not impossible.

In WWII the B17 bombers and I think either the B25 or B24 were supercharged and they had turbochargers feeding the superchargers. The air got so thin in the upper altitudes, the only way they could feed the superchargers was to have a 2nd forced induction system supplying the extra air. If I remember correctly each of these twin charged engines on the B17 made 1700HP

There's an Aussie guy occasionally visits here with a turbo and blower on his T-bucket. It runs a 221 six and log head.

Right, the 300ZX, Supra and Skyline are all TT also. It's certainly more common to see twin turbos than two different types of forced induction. I saw that '55 Chevy in Hot Rod that had 8 turbos, and have seen cars with quad roots blowers too. His question said that he didn't know a lot about cars. I wouldn't try to fabricate a twincharging system, at least until I get a lot more experience in blowing up motors

I still don't understand exactly what he wants for the second question...

I think he is wanting to know if the triple-duce throttle bodies (the induction on the SEMA motor) can be turbo charged. The answer is YES. Actually, that was my original intention, until I decided to go with an M90 blower. And I may still decide to do it on another motor. But the M90 will be first. 8)

I know you must get asked this all the time, but any updates on the timeline/flow testing/hp&torque info?

holden makes a twin charged application i think.

there are some vw and audi's out there that are twin charged, there are a few companies working with the technology, but it is a super PITA to tune.

though as far as a kit, most guys that keep these engines are not the kit kind of guys.. so i don't really see a kit in the future, unless the demand goes up for Forced Induction within the community.

All you former army mechanics should remember the Detroit 8V90 (I think) diesel in the Hemmits with their turbo and supercharger. J

Detroit Diesels use the roots blower to SCAVENGE the cylinder (it s a 2-cycle engine) it's not there as a supercharger, per se.

Take the roots blower off....and the engine will NOT run!!
