rear sump 250 pan

Hey guys,
Anyone know what year and make came with a rear sump 250 oil pan.
Thinking about rebuilding the freebie 250 engine later this summer.
Gotta get the cam fer tha 200 first tho.
Any info?

There never was a rear sump pan made for a 250 motor.
I think the only pan avialable was a mid sump style.

When I put my 250 motor in my 1981 Mustang I had to make a rear sump pan using the original 200 motor's rear sump & mating it to the pan rails from a 250 pan.

What pickup tube did you use?
Will the 200 pump and pickup tube interchange?

I cut the mounting flange off the 250 & the 200 pickup's & welded the 250's flange on the 200 pickup tube.
