Hey Guys and gals,

I'm getting a 200 six for a guy that has it hooked up to a manual tranny...and the tranny in my falcon is a automatic. The starter location is higher than my stock location for the automatic. The question is with the higher starter location, will it matter??

I'm sorry guys and gals--

I had it wrong..the original 200 six was a high starter mount and the rebuilt six is a lower starter mount would this make any difference???

If the tranny / bellhousing matches the block, it shouldn't be a problem. On roundbody Falcons you'd have clearance issues with the steering link, but on a '66 I think you're ok.
