Roller lifters and cams

Hi All,
Just wondering if anybody had or was considering putting roller lifters in their 250 engine. I seam to remember reading somewhere that the 250 uses FE lifters, is that correct? So would an FE set fit?
Do you think it would be worth the hassle and cost?

PS I'm aiming the engine to be NA with low-mid range power/torque

it is correct that the lifters in 144-250's are FE lifters and you may even get them to fit, but there is no roller cam made for the 144-250's. closest we can get is running roller rockers with SBF lifters
