Just to be 100% Shure..

E0 reads: 1980

Right?

Thanks, Hjölli.

Yes, 1980 design year. Earliest possible appearance would probably be late 1979, but it's not very likely.

Thanks, but another thing is bugging me. (It's 2 in the morning in Iceland, I am constantly running from the garage to the computer and I just can't seem to get to sleep till I find this out!) The number on my 200 head is:

E0 BE - 6090 - BB

But here:

http://www.classicmustang.com/decoding_part_numbers.htm

the third B in my number which should tell me from what car the engine came is not mentioned.

Going nuts..
Hjölli.

HA! I found it! Fairmont 1980.

Brilliant.

This means that using my 250 head on top of this engine would do nothing since they use the same heads, right?

Another thing bugging me. I have a 2bbl Holley adapted with the Clifford adapter and I could have sworn I saw something in here earlier about it being nessicary to switch out some parts in the carb due to too much flow? I just rebuilt the Holley and the engine runs fine, although the CO is off the charts..

Thanks, Hjölli.

I love iceberges, Bjork, and really love creater racing....

The Power Valve Channel restrictions leading to the power valve in a 7448 350 cfm carb should be down sized with some fuse wire.
It goes to rich at wide open throttle.

The power valve should come down to 6.5 or so. Main jets can stay at 59 to 61.

Check with wsa111. He's done a lots of testing, and has documented it here.

Thanks a lot or : "takk kærlega".

The video is actually taken in Sweden at a race there, some of the cars are Icelandic, some are Swedish, Danish and Norse. The design, though, is 100% icelandic and this has been a big sport here since the 80's. A typical hp rate if 800 - 1200 HP!! Modifying Trucks is a BIG hobby here in Iceland and without hesitation I would say that we are in the lead in the world in those matters. All deascent modifycations lead to keeping the gravity point low even though you can fit bigger tires. (up to 46", even 49") This means raising up to some point and then cutting the hell of the fenders!

This

http://www.f4x4.is/new/profile/default.aspx?file=4247

is my car and links to pics are in the top right corner. The links are called: Trukkurinn, Sprautun, Ferð í Landmannalaugar 2004 and Willys.

The link "Myndasafn" will also show hundreds of pics of modified trucks of all shapes and sises. There is just nothing like travelling on top of glaciers and my country covered in snow!

Anyway, My carb is a rebuilt (personally) 280 cfm Holley. That should be ok right? May be there is a blocked line somewhere in there causing the CO to read so high?

Thanks, Hjölli.
