All Small Six serpentine belt conversions?

This relates to all small sixes
not sure, folks jump off (fall off?) the serpentine idea of OP's (60 posts, 4 pages ago) thread beginnings?
Pardon the intrusion if not. (My idea goes to the “yes we did abandon it.”)

I haven’t abandoned it, I just don’t really have anything new to share. I drew up an adapter for a single grove damper to hold the Taurus pulley, but it was really just to check fitment and bolt spacing. Early prototype. Then I got distracted by the thought of a timing belt conversion, got a free Korg X5D to learn keyboard and bought an Opsix to go with it, and I’m working with a small development team on a survival game.

Also need to finish the drainage and path along the fence before it rains and put the new floor in the pantry.

And get the mustang running and out of the garage.

OK then. I remember U from a long hx w/both the bronk site & here.
Do you remember the pic here of the serp done ona black 200ci motor?
I recall one view (all we got) of the front dress with that. May have had Mike’s
alloy head (Matt’s is based on it).
I cant find the pic (tech archive?) and try every time some one mentions this conversion.
Thought I’d ask directly as you’ve got some hx here. (May B one of “xtasy’s” or ‘powerband” ?)
They have good sized pic archives...

I suspect this is the one you mean, but it looks like a 250 timing cover, but has the 4.6l damper and the custom h2o pulley I heard about. I think the 4.6l v8 and 250 share a crank snout measurement.
I read about a 200 that used the Taurus balancer and an unobtainable single year Ranger (93?) water pulley, the second pic is my engine pulleys roughly placed and you can see the interference. Planning on slimming the pulleys a bit after the adapter is polished off.

yes, that must B it.
It’s ona thread (of this topic) now. Everything I
could hope for. How old is that pic?

I really dont need to ask but am still curious.
Where is it originally published? Know?
/OR/
Who’s done up this motor? Know?

BTW: ever see my large compendium of pullys listed (yr/M/M included)? Not sure it got onto a sticky B4 bubs left us but folks said it was pretty handy (~2009?)

I’ll pretty sure that’s a Mike W picture, it all looks so perfect with great lighting, etc.

Might be best to use this bracket from Alan Grove Bracket 316r

It uses a Sanden 508 compressor and alternator on top.
