Sorry about last nights post, I was gettin a little frustrated.
Here is what I am going to do. I am going to pull the valve cover off and vissually confirm TDC #1. I just came to the realization that my timing mark on the harmonic balancer may be off. There is a notch cut into the balancer that I have been using as a timing mark. It may be off. I'll let you all know what I find.

So, both rockers will be fully unloaded.

Some balancers (not sure 'bout the small sixes) have marks every 90°. I've been tricked.

You dont turn the Dist. 180, you turn the Rotor!!! And you don't have to crank the motor over to do it either. Just pull the dist. and rotate the ROTOR 180 and reinstall. :roll:
