Spark advance port for TBI

I'm using a Taurus TBI unit on my 200 with Megasquirt. The tbi unit does not have a vacuum port. What can I use for a port for distributor advance? Can I drill a port above the throttle plates and use this. I'm using a Megasquirt V3.0 but I'm not using Megasquirt ll with ignition control.

You should be able to find a location to drill a very small hole just above the throttle plate. A slot vs. a hole would be more progressive vacuum, but probably not notiecable.

Counter bore with a larger bit to allow a press-in tube to connect a hose. That will give you ported vacuum.

Thanks, I was thinking about counter boring the hole and pressing a tube into the counter bore for the hose. I noticed on my Carter YF that it has a slot above the throttle plates but maybe a round hole will work just as good. I'll try to get it about the same distance that the Carter has it above the plates.
