Stock exhaust outlet size

are they all the same size on the 200's? I have a '66, the outlet is pretty small. Would I be better off going with a later model ?

(i'm going turbo with a j pipe)

Howdy GG:

It is my belief that all '65 and later 200 exhaust manifolds have a 2" outlet. The manifolds did change over the years, but the outlet remained at 2". The changes were related to beefing them up in crack prone areas and providing extra casting for taps and bungs for EPA stuff.

I prefer the '68 castings as they are beefier and have the fewest distortions for extra taps and bungs.

I have heard of special/larger exhaust manifolds for Econolines but have never seen one, nor had anyone verify and give details.
