Ok …. I have owned my 69 Falcon sense 2018 . I have been saying for the longest time , I want to take her down to Turkey Rod Run in Daytona Beach , Florida . I live in Jacksonville , Fl . Not a long ride at all . Finally the wife and I are going . So I had a couple of issues to address on the Falcon too get too . Trans Pan Leaking , Oil Plug leaking , and maybe a tune up. Buttoned uo the leaks . Took my Car to my Mechanic just to find out he RETIRED ! So I thought to my self… I take my car out once maybe twice and month . Don’t go far … “SHE WILL BE FINE ! “ . We going down not on the interstate but on the back roads . She got down no problems . When we came back .. as soon as we left daytona … she starts burr.. burring . Then a stuble . We pulled over checked her over . We blamed the carb . Nursed her home , and she did get us home ! When I deep dived in …. I pulled number one plug , and she was FOULED OUT BAD ! So I have changed the plugs and checked carb and vacuum 19psi . She is running good now . If you have a thought to do something before a trip … DON’T BE ME !
