Stupid Question I know

All,
I know this is a stupid question but I need to ask. I had to build a custom valve cover out of 2 original covers. Question: The front hole I know has a cap that has a vent spout and the rear is set for the PVC. One my 2BB Holly I have a hookup for one hose but not 2. How do I hook it up so the case vents properly?

Without knowing what year the motor is its hard to reply. The older sixs have a vent pipe on the side of the motor which between it and the vented oil cap this is all the breathing the engine needs. If you have a closed ventilation system there would be a hose from the back of the valve cover going to the fuel intake system. My after market valve cover came with the rear hole and a grommet to plug it if its not needed.

Most Holley 2brls have three vacuum outlets , a large in the rear ( hooks to PCV or Power Brake Booster ) a small one on the left side halfway up on the metering block ( sometimes has a plug you can remove and install a nipple 1/8 th pipe thread ) usually used for Vacuum andvance hookup , and one on the bottom left corner of the baseplate that is manifold Vacuum , hooks to Modulater valve , or othe things that need manifold Vacuum , On the Falcon 6's that used a PCV, the Valve is in the back of the cover , and a breather that vents to outside air or has a hose that hoocks to the side or bottom of the air cleaner assembly ( closed crankase system AND thats the best way as it keeps the engine AND the air for you and me to breath the cleanest ) hope this helps
