So other than being new to this forum, I'm also new to engines. I've tried my hand at alot of things, and now that I'm purchasing an old piece of mechanical history, I've decided I should learn engines. I figure if Radar and computers aren't that hard, then surely this must be easy.
So I've been reading about alot of things and I've become fixated on carburetors. Being naturally interested in physics, I've taken to the idea that I can make a better turbocharger. Has anyone ever heard of Hilsch tubes or Vortex tubes? I'm thinking maybe I can adapt it to work with the Hilsch tubes? Don't I want lots of cool air in there? Maybe I don't know enough of what I'm talking about? Any idears from the rest?
P.S.> I'm claiming poor mans patent/copyright if this is a new and fantastic idea! So there!
Edited: because I'm a moron and don't know what I'm talking about + tired.
