swirl carb spacer for log intake

i recently did an experiment to see if i could more torque what i did was i took the spacer and cut 2 spiral grooves on the inside and bored it out 1/2"on the carb side tapering to the log, the engine runs smoother after warm-up and i can richen the a/f ratio without it bogging out, it now has slightly faster acceleration

yes but mine didnt look that clean, i did it to accomidate the bigger butterfly on my holly 1940 which i think came off a jeep
