The Megasquirt version 1.xx wont support turbos since the MAP wont read that high of pressures.
Bu the Megasquirt 2.xx will support turbo systems with up to 21lbs boost if I read their info correctly.
Here how hard it is to add turbo support.
1)Locate vacuum line from intake
2) plug into the MAP
The 2.2 system is already calculated for turbo.
Im getting all giddy and excited over this. If the xflow 200 works I am thinking that a EFI xflow head, intake and injectors and rails will go nicely with my T3 turbo which is factory set to run 14lbs of boost.
Depending on how things go I may wind up turboing the Oz head and throwing a TBI on it. Either way it will be a blow through system.
Imagine walking up to the Stang, looking in the hood scoop, and seeing what looks like a radiator with a big fan on top.( The 79-82 hoodscoop systems were notorious for not flowing much air since they are not well located in the airstream, but a radiator fan of the right size will blow plenty of outside air over the intercooler.)
Means I will have to get forged pistons and HD rod and main bolts too.
