Al mentioned in another thread that you could get a megasquirt setup for less than $200. I thought they were over $800 so thats why I never considered one.
What about using a TBI, and a megasquirt, with a blow through turbo setup?
TBI uses high enough fuel pressure that it should not be a problem with a turbo and 14-16 lbs of boost. You would have to find a way to enrich the mix when boost comes on. A hobbs switch in intake so the computer can detect boost and richen up the mix?
I have a 1984 Thunderbird Turbo Coupe 2.3L EFI turbo motor that is set to run 14lbs of boost and it does not use an intercooler. I would think that an Oz head or Crossflow head with a 4bbl intake and a TBI and turbo could make some killer power.
