thinking of a cam....

I am thinking of swapping in a cam this spring (onceI get the suspension on the car and the new head rebuilt) I was looking at the mikes 264* single pattern cam. but I also like the compcams 252h. basicly I want something that will cruise at highway speeds and have more umph in the 2500-44500 rpm range.....but still work nicely with the turbo.

For gods sake don't use the antiquated comp cam.

Get the 264 from mike @ FSPP but get at least a 112 or better yet the 114 lobe center with the blown engine. Also make sure you get valves springs with sufficient pressure. William

That is some rpm range you want

I think the 252 would be ok for the first couple thousand rpm´s...but the last 30000 or so will be tough  :P

I would also recommend the 214*/214* @ .050" cam.

I believe it would be a great match on a turbo engine.
