throtle arm mod

I have a Pacemaker header and my throtle arm is resting on top of the last tube. When I took a look under the steering wheel, it seemed to me that my gas pedal was too close to the floor like I remembered it, but the throtle arm has no tension on it until I start lift it up like a 1/2 inch.

Is this ok? If not, what's the best way to bend the throlte arm while in the car?

Look along the firewall, and you should see an adjustable bracket on the throttle lever, the lever that actually connects to the gas pedal.
