Is it possible to run a pipe over to the other side of the car to be able to do side pipes?
Oh wow!!!I love classic thrush pipes. The only complete set on Ebay right now is 1900. An incomplete set is 750.
Definitely not what I want. What about the side pipes that Corvettes have?FWIW - many side pipes create significant backpressure. Frieburger put them on an LS-powered Chevy van, and they killed A LOT of horsepower.
Is there a way to put those specific pipes on a 250ci?What about the side pipes that Corvettes have?
they project more horsepower than they kill ...
Your question should be is there a way to put those specific pipes on a Mustang. Is there a way to put those specific pipes on a 250ci?
We actually don't have a decibel limit, at least I don't think. It is kinda left up to the officer to determine what is "exceedingly loud."Check the local ordinance for the decibel limit. I got a ticket once on a Harley with straight pipes.
It's in a '66 Mustang that I'm hoping to turn into a drag car.as others: what is the 4.1L in, what R U trying to achieve?
That's interesting. I have never read up on any of this, I've just seen enough to know that I want to try it."...a drag car...."
ck w/the track(s) U will go to. Many have SOME kinda parameters
on much that is brought there. They may mail U a booklet. If U
do not follow it U may B "expelled" (not get on that strip). B a shame
to make sompin that can not 'go anywhere' (time, money, hope, ignorance).
It is a pretty expensive hobby round here (example: we cant drive w/o a 1K$
fire suit & that's just the beginning). Could B totally different dependent on national
region, class, etc. This yr, as an 8 second car, we needed a parachute - to even show up.
