I am looking at replacing my torque onverter with a unit with a little more stall. I was asked which style my converter was?
Examples: (Fits 14.23 dia. flywheels), 26 spline, Size: 12, Bolt Pattern: 11 1/2 , Engine: All w/ 1.375 pilot Brazed Impeller: Y , Brazed Turbine: Y , Bearings: 3 , Washers: 0

OR: (Fits 13.30 dia. Flywheels), 26 spline, Size: 11, Bolt Pattern: 10 1/2 , Engine: All w/ 1.375 pilot Brazed Impeller: Y , Brazed Turbine: Y , Bearings: 3 , Washers: 0
Any help would be great,
Thanks,
Ken

As your 250 is running a 157 tooth flexplate, I reckon probably the second description is the one. You'd need to check those four bolts or nuts attaching the converter to it, though (for spacing).

Regards, Adam.

Hey Addo,
If I pull the inspection plate off, I should be able to see/count the number of flexplate bolts. Of course by rotating the torque converter.
Thanks for the help.
Ken
