im not about to teach a class here, im hoping to learn something from you guys. like what all is involved in putting a blow through turbo setup on an inline 200. i just got my h/w 5200 carb today, would this carb work? can i run cheap pump gas still, like 87 octane? will the stock 6 cylinder drivetrain live? what all would need to be purchased and what would it cost in total? i guess what im saying is i know nothing about turbos and straight sixes but it looks like the way to go for cheap horsepower. how much boost can i get by with on the cheap gas? can i use my stock fuel pump? should i use my stock exaust manifold? can i use my stock 68 distributor with a pertronix upgrade. what kind/size turbo should i look for? will i be doing a lot of fabricating or is just about everything i need already made? you know the only reason my 67 doesnt have a turbo is because it would cost a fortune, but ever since my first nmra event, ive always dreamed of hitting the lottery so i could have a turbo. now i look around here and these inline 6 guys are doing it like its a no-brainer. like falling off a log. if its a simple as it seems (ive been reading the posts here), id be stupid not to boost her six drive.
