Turbo Manifold gasket

Hi Guys
Still fixing up bits and pieces so havent got the car down the track or on the dyno yet
One of my main probs is that I keep blowing manifld gaskets. Doesnt seem to be the same port every time Im using a standard ACL gasket Its the stuff that looks like imprinted Aluminium foil about 2-3 mm thick and ive used maniseal every time dont know whether thats good or bad butit holds the gaskets in place while the manifold goes on
Ive had the manifold planed flat the haed looks good with a straight edge and only running 6-7 psi boost
Any good ideas

Make one from thin copper shim stock? Or soft aluminum (have done that before, works great)

Or don't use a gasket at all. Just use the silicon.

Alrighty will try the ideas Im getting quick at taking the manifolds and turbo off so i guess thats something

I'd affirm what Will says. Most people just use plain old silicon, because Ford never used a gasket anyway. Get some brass nuts and good strong bolts (old hint from Mini Cooper S and Austin Healy Sprite days). The manifold is 22 inches long, and bends. You have to torque cente out, in three stages,and limit the total lb-ft to what Ford recomends, or even less. If its flat and has a linear smear of silcone, its easier to torque it up correctly.

Use "ultra copper" - - I think it has the highest heat rating
