Oh no! Dismo is here! :lol: I don't think you took any pics but Kyle did. He never sent them to me though. That's okay. I got it looking good now so I need to take some good pics of it. Ask kyle about them though I am sure he still has them. As for your Lincoln being faster.......never under estamate a guy with a big turbo and a free engine! :twisted: J/K you will probably kill me!

Dan,

As soon as you get some good pictures and video, send them to me. I can convert VHS, and have plenty of room to host it (along with bandwidth).

Hey Dan, Just take one of those Free videos Buick Man gave you and make a video of the 6popper and send it to Cobra6. HE can convert the VHS to Digital for you.

Maybe you can even sneak the one of my bad ass wheelie to him to convert for me :lol: :P :?: :twisted:




BTW. I talked to Kyle today, we went to dinner. He said he didn't take any on HIS camera, but he THINKS he took some with his Dads new camera. Said he would call him and see if they are on his Dads camera, and if they are will ahev him send them up here.

I left MY camera in TN, so if YOU want to get some pics. Stop by my Moms place, take a loook at her car, and pic up my dig. camera from her and snap some pics. Once you do that, I can tell you how to upload them to your puter, or you can send the card to me or Kyle and we can upload the stuff.

Either way, its been runningfor over a month now, and your lazy ass hasn't gotten the FIRST pic of it up yet.

Yea I know! The bad part is I am just now getting everything looking right on it. :oops: Okay, I guess I will just do it my self with a regular camera and scan the pictures of it. I will try to get some movies of it tonight. I cranked it up to 12psi last night in the freezing cold air and dang it was feeling good! :shock:

Quit messing around with that little motor and get to workin on the 250!!!! Why have a turbo 170 or 200 whatever it is, when you can have a 15psi 250?

Now go take some damn pictures!!!!

Dude, seriously, go get a disposable comera, Take crap loads of pictures of it, take them to WalMart or WalGreens, and they can give you back a disk with the pics on it that you can upload to the puter.

Nevermind..im just gonna call you.

So, Turbos make Torque. More cubes = more HP. Why rev to 6000 to make 150 hp when youcan make 200hp at 5000?
 
well, actually that's only part of it (revs better cause of a better rod ratio IIRC), i just tossed something out randomly

since you are talkin 'bout a 250 into a '65, you gotta worry 'bout a few things
one is that the 250 is taller, so you run into clearance problems with the hood, and that's with a normal air cleaner, not sure what is gonna be goin on with the turbo piping (then there's running all the vac lines, and linkages)

wider as well, and longer than the 200 as well, this also creates problems with hood clearance, and with fan-radiator clearance

then there's tranny considerations, bellhousing bolt-patterns are different, bellhousing and torque converter if it's a auto, if it's a manual it depends on the tranny that's in there

then there might be problems clearing the exhaust with the 250 starter

all in all, it's possible, but give him a bit to mess around with this
he gets one thing done and you want to immediately push him into another project?
let 'im enjoy it for a bit

All the more reason to start on it now, so it can all be ironed out by the time the tracks start rollin, and the cruise in's get fired up!!

try the tech pages (this place doesn't have just a forum ya know)
pretty much 100% of my info came from there, and i cut out a lot of it

Hollar at me this week, I'd like to check out the milling process on that bell.

I keep thinking om going to do something with my Turbo car, and this week just may be the time. I think im going to try to snag some pipe tonight and do some cutting and fitting.

Is that just a stock turd bottom end, pistons, cam, etc??

I was just checking out the new pics Slade put up and it looks kinda easy to do once you get the parts around!! 8) 8) 8)
