8) Has anyone turned to the 2.2 Ford Probe for a source of turbos?
We're giving up finding a 2.3 turbo set up and will build our own with the 2.2 turbo.

The Probe used an RHB52W turbo by Borg-Warner/IHI. Most of the Probe guys upgrade to a T3 Super 60 unit with good results. That's what I'd be looking for if I were you. You can find those on ebay all day long...

I got a t3 core you can get for $90. bearings are GONE and the compressor hit the housing. it is a great canidate for a hybrid conversion though. I had a similar t3 converted by precision turbo in cali for $480 (including shipping and NEW wheel and maching) they put a t04 E .52 trim I think it was in there. no charge for removing broken bolts came back painted in hi temp and media blasted.

8) Thanks Inliner! We figured the 2.2 turbo would meet our needs and not over power the engine. We'll be looking around for the t3 soon.
