Valve cover bolt torque

3-5 ft. lbs ....wait two minutes re torque .
I do not have one that will go that low so I just use a nut driver.

I looked at the CI small six torque specs and I believe there is a mistake on the clutch bolt 32-36 is way to high for a 5/16" bolt .Someone sheared their bolts using that spec.
Is there a way of checking this, and correcting this?
