They are evilbay all the time also. You can score on on there for a better price than the catalogs probably..

someone mentioned it...or maybe the guy at mustang collection told me that

My chrome valve cover doesn't leak, but the oil leaks between the head and block, specially with synthetic oil. It has taken the paint off the sides of my block.

I purchased one of the chrome ones from ebay, and it seems fine to me. Its an import, but was a direct fit, and no leaks so far

Ive seen Clifford performance sell some. My question is, is there a perfromance gain in buying the clifford performance one??? If so, how???? Oh well, the chrome ones look hot, gotta get me one!

Perfromance gain from changing to a chrome or polishd valve cover
Oh yes hundereds of hourse power, and don't forget the stickers!

sweeet, lol, I knew there was a reason to keep all those stickers and such. I figured since Clifford sold a fairly expensive valve cover maybe it helped somehow, perhaps it helped cool somethin or other, lol. On the same note, I see some people with the oil breather caps from K&N I think, whats with those???

66Sprint6,

The only performance advantage gained with an aftermarket valve cover is to allow room for higher lift rocker arms that might hit a stock valve cover. I haven't heard of this being much of an issue even for the guys running roller rockers and hot cams with the chrome valve covers, which are the same height as a stock one.

I know Mike (AZCoup) is working on a two-piece cast valve cover.

I don’t know what the deal is on the K&N oil breathers either.

Dearborne classics has good ones thats where the_dude_with_the_falcon got his al and its been realy good i got the one from cliffords but the first one was leaking and they replaced it and know it is cliping and cracking they r crap for $150.00. dearborne's are only $50.00.

8) You can get a chrome valve cover at Summit Racing. It's part number 1 TRD - 9338 and is listed as $35.99. It's a Trans - Dapt part.
