Has anyone replaced the valve guides in their 200 ? Would this be considered machine shop only territory ?

What about oversize valve stems are they available ?

Thanks

Yes, machine shop only. Don't bother knurling your guides, it's a total waste of time and money
Maybe, I think oversize stem valves are still available, but you may have a hard time finding them.
Why not run a new set of stainless oversize valves from FSPP ? They're only about $10ea; new, bigger face=more flow, better material, readily available. You only need hardened seats for the exhaust side, plus some bowl work. REALLY wakes up the engine if you pay attention to the details. :D

The thinwall spiral groove bronze liners are probably best. K-Line is one brand that gets used. You will need to recut the seats after lining the guides, as they will not be a perfect match anymore. Oversizes typically used to be 3, 10 and 30 thou.

Regards, Adam.
