Valve spring colors?

I have red springs in my C5-head. Does the color indicate the stiffness of the spring? In Toyotas it does.. Those springs are very stiff!! Sturdier than those they use with race-prepped VW-beetles and they rev up to 8000rpm.

I´ve seen a configuration, like: Yellow=lightest, Blue=between. Red=hardest. Maybe in this case it means absolutely nothing It´s just that I´m not sure about the combo about being stock or not. I´m tearing it apart now but won´t get any wiser without your opinions until next week when I plan to lift the engine from the bay.. maybe..

Just doesn´t seem bone-stock, or what do you think of the fact that my dads VW Bora that has 77Kw couldn´t loose it as we were tailing it? after we got to about 50mph the bora started to get some distance.
