Hello ,
I just buy a large log head ( C9DE ) .
I would like to rebuilt it for to put last year on my 200ci in my mustang .
This head have 2 colors valve spring , green and red .
You can see on cyl1 , valves springs are red/red , cyl 2 red / green , cyl 3 red / green , cyl 4 green / red , cyl 5 green / green ,cyl 6 red / green .
Is it normal ?

somebody messed up on reassembly, each cylinder should have one green and one red valve spring. The exhaust valves are used with the rotator type retainers and will be used with all the same color springs (these are the shorter spring height, I think that's the red springs) and the intakes will be the other color (the Longest spring) Green they will go with the standard spring retainer. Good luck
