Wanted Wanted 200Cid Block or engine - 1966 Mustang

I am looking for a 200Cid Block or engine to rebuild. Unfortunately my original has had its last days and the machine shop determined @.60 over and ovaled bores it has had it. I have done a search on Craiglist and Car-Parts and chasing some leads but would welcome any help the forum can provide.

Are you looking for a dual transmission bolt pattern block, or would a single bolt pattern block (8-1/2" clutch) work for you? I have a '65 200 block partially torn down, no head, cam and lifters removed, but has seized pistons with the crank still in it, I can double check, but I do not believe it has ever been bored over. Possibly just needs a .030 over bore.

In Zanesville, Ohio, it's either a cheap sale to someone, or scrap to me, I ran across a good '70 200 I'm going to rebuild.

Can post pics.

Single trans capable is fine. I did find one locally that I picked up yesterday. I was amazed at the quantity of engines on Facebook marketplace.

Good to hear, had one to offer.

It's certainly always better to start with one that isn't locked up. I got the '70 for free from a family friend.
