I mean the box that allows the use of retard modules ( it plugs into a 6AL ), I could get a 10* retard modual to limit the advance curve 10* so it would be 27* like Does10's suggested.

I ran this setup with Dyno 2000 and came up with 275 HP, seems high.

275 HP is possible but not at low boost. You have to realize how crappy the factory log head is for flow. It can be *made* to work if there is a bit of effort done to it but it's not a good piece from the factory.

the summit book I'm looking at does not have the exact part I'm looking for ( old book ) but found a cheaper solution which is MSD-8680 uses a dial to advance or retard timing up to 15* with use of a dial. 127.88 from summit and it plugs into a MSD 6, 7, or * series box.

as for my Dyno 2000 figure, I did not have flow # for the head so I used there standard, which is probably better flowing than the log heads are.

Those are handy to have but not necessary. Your money would be better spent on other things.

how else would I limit the advance swing to 10* on a DS II? I would run a 6Al instead of the DS Box.
