Anybody know which one fits the Aussie Head?
Just go to local parts house ask to see both temp senders that fit the early ford 200 & 250 I forget which one it was but one of them is a direct fit! Some one here listed the part number to the correct on within the last month, sorry I don't remember but it's been almost 2 years 
It is a standard pipe fitting (1/4")??? it's not metric......

Just to let everyone know it's not the right thread. It's the right size but not the same thread. It's the same sending unit you can get from National Parts Depot. The part number is 10884-1 and was listed as the sending unti for V-8's prior to 65. After 65 they went to a larger diameter design like the one for our sixes with US log heads. They have a few others and I called NPD and the guy was nice enough to compare them for me and all the other sending units they had were of the large diameter style.
I ending up forcing the sensor in and put some silicone on to help seal. We will see if it holds. Of course the brass threads are ruined now and if I take it off it probably won't seal again but if it holds I won't need to take it off. lol
