Well, I drove it...

even you are even thinking of EFI go with the aeromotive. it is only $20 and will support the EFI out of the box. plus I like it has npt fittings and not -8 only (I only could get -6 fittings for my GM fuel tank)

pair it with a decent EFI fuel pump and you will never have any fuel issues. do it once and right and get it over with.

The 13301 has served me well. I bought mine on ebay for $25 when the idiot listed it simply as: "fuel pressure regulator". The picture told me what it was worth! (I guess if you can't describe it, don't expect any good bids!)

As you may already know, on mine I used a Holley Red pump ($30) to get fuel from the tank to a EFI pump from an 80's model Ford (frame mounted one). I have less than $100 in my three main fuel components. I used 3/8" supply and return lines.

I agree with kirk, once the fuel delivery problems are sorted out, you may end up supplying fuel with an external circuit like I did.

So I guess I am going w/ the aeromotive... dammit.

If I need more fuel than the needle can handle, then I will just ditch the YF and go with something else. I don't really feel like doing what you did - no offense :)

Mine is a totally stock motor, and I don't plan on running more than 10 psi or so once I get the tune figured out - so I think I will be ok.

Ahh well, the question is can I return the cheap one I bought from pep-boys :)

It's okay, I think I just found a new job, so i've got to celebrate somehow - right?

congrats on the new job, are you getting out of the dessert?

Yeah, Sunnyvale. I will have a much larger car budget now too. Now I just need to find someplace to put all my stuff. I don't think my SF apartment will work =/

Ya know, things like this AFPR really piss me off... If I had just bought this damn thing in the first place I would have had it all working a week ago.

Got it all hooked up, and set the screw so that the carb just didn't overflow... and what do you know - car runs like a rape ape!

Well, at least as much of a rape ape as a stock 200 @ 4 psi can be expected to run.

But man, how rewarding. Now i've just got to finish up the fuel pump wiring so it's not loose all over, bend up a few lines to replace the rubber ones I ran , and weld my wastegate dump into the downpipe.

But it totally runs awesome! how cool is this....

I think BBC fits fine. If it looks right, probably is right. All used the same manufacturer's design more or less...

I wish I wasn't working these 60 hour weeks running around a construction site all day. if I had a little more freetime (there is talk of goign to 5-10's at work) I would be all over getting the fairlane out here for a little work (crossflow swap) and mods (turbo)

I work with a guy that just came from doing nuclear containment welding so I think he could manage a header for me....

Boost Controllers... are they all created equal? Any reason not to get a cheapo version off ebay for like 20 bucks?
