Wha? AeroCharger?!?

I've been contemplating for a WHILE about turboing my I6 200 Mustang. Now to add to my confusion I ran across the Aerocharger the only self-contained turbo charger?? Could this be an alternative to traditional turbocharging? Thanks for any Info!

Stay away from them. For anything you may gain is quickly absorbed back because of the load on the alternator.

I saw dyno results from a Miata that was using one (actually a Ram Charger, IIRC). They lost 2 HP because of that.
