All Small Six What did you do to your Ford six today?

This relates to all small sixes
'62 Ranchero, working on correcting the rear pinion angle for the swapped in 8" from a Maverick. Cutting the angle correction into 2" drop blocks, 4 degree correction, running sedan arched springs.

Made some traction/slapper bars last week welded into the lower spring plates, correct length for the snubbers to hit at the front spring eyes, not back on the main leaf arch.

You need these traction aids, better than slapper bars. Works under brakes as well as forward, cant drag on the ground.RIMG0254.JPG

Includes 240-300 of course. I accumulated more parts so that counts also?

I looked out at the typhoon of rain and took stock of my new 1-3/4” intake valves and my 1-15/32” exhaust valves. Made a note to install the new fuel pressure gauge on the next sunny day and told my 66 Mustang that it’s only 10 weeks until Spring.
